forums are better of course, one factor is time... you can get answers from forums faster than getting it in yahoo answers, second is that people can exchange ideas or can argue about an answer in forums and in Yahoo answers, answers most of the time seems to be just opinions

No not good than forums but good. It also helps in increasing traffic

We can't differentiate as forums are more specific to one topic like here we likely discuss "webmastering" but Yahoo! answers has much more big categorization and traffic as well.

depends on your question. if your question is seen by an expert in the area of your question, you would get answer. otherwise forums specialized in the subject you querying for would be better.

i would say although forums r better than Y answer but it has more than 1000000 peoples to answer i appreciate with krates........ although we can't post like we can here n in any other but we get a actual answer of wht we need ........
so now wht u think.....

It depends. Yahoo Answers is an answer site that is so popular all over the world... meaning there are millions of people who can give or provide you the answer(s) regarding your question(s) or vice versa. On the other hand, a forum that is related with your question would definitely plays an important role on the accuracy of the answer(s) to your question. I mean, if you're going to post a fashion question in a geek or web-savvy forum... you'll have a very small chance of getting the right answer or the answer that you're looking for.
BTW, why won't you participate BOTH in answer sites (e.i. Yahoo Answers) and forums (forums that are related with your question/s)? In that way, you can have better chances of getting the right answer/the answer that you're looking for. Good luck.
