Wink Gmail Got Better -- Ymail Still Slacking

If you ever noticed, Ymail, Hotmail, and AOL mail are all very similar. When you log into your mail account, you see ads and news updates, then you can choose to see your mail or spam or something else.

We dont log into our mail accounts to see news updates....these email sites need to learn that! Gmail is very clever, as soon as we log in, we immediately see our emails. Thats the way to go.

    What do you think?

Gmail is really clever. It shows all the news things in their ads. But the good part is that it's relevant with the content in the gmail.

Yes, these ads are not lengthy or show off type and seen very small space above the mails.

This is very true. Best part is, the ads are all text link ads, no bullshit image ads or ads with moving videos, those slow hotmail and ymail down a lot.

Hotmail and Ymail are more on aesthetics than the functionality, not new anyway since their portal looks the same.

News updates are the most useless thing for an email site, I mean, wtf? Who goes to check their mail for news events?
