Default Yahoo Search is Getting Closer to Google Search

Did anyone noticed changes in Yahoo!' SERP today. Yahoo is following the same way as Google. Frequent change in Google SERP is kind of common now but it's new for Yahoo!. Yahoo! is changing search results very frequently now, maybe if we're lucky they'll get smarter and come up with a Page Rank system and make tons of webmaster tools lol.

That would be a positive move for them. I personally think both Yahoo and Microsoft lacks marketing skills as per the internet goes. Even I can do a better job marketing their search engines

I agree with you Manik, they lack good marketing skills, maybe you should apply for that post.

Yet! I haven't seen any changes for my websites. And I would be pretty much happy if something like that would be happen.

Definitely, now Yahoo just needs to make some big move. Im totally hoping that Yahoo comes up with a page rank system, preferably one that goes from 0 to 100, it will make webmasters crazy.

Webmasters are already crazy about Google PR. As you look at all the forums Google forums is always filled up with PR things. Having the ranking from MS would make webmasters go sleepless

browser rank will determine ranking based on the amount of time people spend on a site...so it's not just about linking....but i think it will be easier to manipulate it.

That would be good, believe it or not, many people actually use MSN all the time rather then Google, and they have it as their homw page, so I'd love to rank well with MSN too.

Step forward in the right direction for Yahoo. Googles got some competition now.

I doubt it, Google wont have competition until YPN gets seriously good (its still beta format i think) and Yahoo needs to become more important for webmasters, but still, its something.
