there are different types tools for checking keyword position, firedox add-ons available or u can rather check it manually by typing it in google search bar

To check your keyword position in Google search results, I would recommend that you do not use any 'automated software' If you cannot find your keyword in the search results, I recommend that you look at your website to see if you have optimised the pages for 'on page' seo optimisation, including page meta tags, title, description and keywords.
Yahoo's site explorer will tell you how many back links point to your site.

I would recommend to check the web ranks manually and without using any type of software. Search engines really do not like some automated queries sent to their databases on a constant basis and many of the tools may even get blocked from accessing data. Checking your website ranking once a day or a few times per week and done manually could be like a good procedure.

To check your key position in Google search results, I recommend that you do not use "automated software" If you do not see your keyword in the search results, I recommend you watch your website to see if you've optimized the pages on page optimization SEO, meta tags including page title, description and keywords.
Browse the Yahoo will tell you how many backlinks pointing to your site.

I would like to suggest you to take good look at seobook tool bar. It has a rank checker tool. It provides keyword position for yahoo, google and ping(you can choose the location like .uk, .com, .au, etc)

I check my keyword rankings in Google manually, sometimes i am using the keyword ranking tool at SEOCentro..But i'm not checking my keyword position at Yahoo..
