Thread: Yahoo ranking information

I am aware of the system the way Googlerankings work and how Google chooses and assigns positions and ranksto the websites registered to it. But I am not sure about the systemof Yahoo. I would like to know the way the ranking provided by theother search engines work. Especially the keyword ranking system ofYahoo. On what factors should I have to emphasize more to get adecent rank in Yahoo? On what strategy should I work to get a goodposition? I have been wondering about this for sometime now. I needyour help. Please do answer to my questions.

U can search on Google and u will get all the info about that.

According to my experience, yahoo gives more prefernce to the links rather than social media or content etc. Forwhatever keyword I start buildingthe links, itsrank is firstly increased in yahoo and then in Google.

I think yahoo uses a fairly similar method to google for search engine placement.
If you find you are ranking better on google it could be because you use google more than you use yahoo.
Therefore the places you put your links have been found by google - yahoo might not know these sites exist.
To be placed better on yahoo you should simply use yahoo more often.
