Thread: How can I be listed in yahoo,bing?

I started a blog a month ago now pageviews exceed 1500 . I checked the search engines bing and yahoo , could not find myself. Then I applied to be listed in their search engines a week ago, checked now not listed yet. Since my blog is related with google, I guess bing and yahoo do not want to list sites from blogger. Any advice?

Not: I am listed at google with list 309 results

you should start social bookmarking and forums comment posting..after that you can get yahoo, bing and google...listing..and avoid duplicate contain posting on your blog site..because if you use this trick may be your site penalize...

Submit your blog in some blog directories such as bloggeries.com, ontoplist.com, blogged.com, britblog.com etc probably you might found your blog listed not only in Google but also in Yahoo, Bing.

keep building incoming links. you will soon be added in yahoo and bing

What you mean with social bookmarking is making people aware of my site by facebook and yahoo?

Thanks, I have already added my blog to some directories but could not remember now. I will also add it to the ones you mentioned.

Incoming links = ? backlinks ? . I guess it is a quite a difficult process to gain a backlink support but I am trying to reach that goal by trying to attract people who is interested with the content at my website.

for bing use bing webmaster tools

and for yahoo use yahoo exploere

what is yahoo bing .i never heard about it ,please explain it

Listing your site in google does not mean anything for getting your blog on page #1. I would start by getting the buzz out about your blog. There are many free press release sites and bignews you can use to build backlinks plus get some traffic to your blog. I would also leave links on related forums about your blog. Digg is also a great place if you have a digg account to submit articles about your blog. The reason I named these places is yahoo likes to pick up and PR and Digg stuff in the past but the bottom line is google is #1 if you rank on google you will rank in yahoo and bing. 95% of your traffic will come from google. From my experience only google is far better than yahoo or bing for traffic. I really only get foreign traffic from Yahoo or Bing.

Just submit your site in Bing webmaster tool and let Bing determine to crawl your website and at the same time you can submit your site in yahoo to get list. But, i had observed that my website keywords ranked in top ten in yahoo but it's not drive good traffic. So Google is good for me.
