subst command in win 2003

i use subst command to create local disk G: of
D:\folder1\
how to make it permanent?

Doesn't look like the subst command has a parameter to make the link permanant.
Startup or logon script? Scheduled task?

Win2003 is a Server Operating System. Or do you mean Windows XP Media Center Edition 2003? They are quite different.

No can do. You'll need to create a script to run at start up to do what you want.
