    Default Printing with Terminal Services

I am using Remote Desktop to connect to a windows 2003 server. How can I print from the server to my local printer on my computer. I am running Windows vista. I have an HP All In 1 Printer. It is connected through my local network using an IP address. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

both computers need to be on same network or your local computer need to be on a network that can be reached from the server.

if your local computer does have a static ip you can try connecting to that first, then detect all the printers from the network.

Printers should carry over when you connect via remote desktop

This doesn't always happen though, I've known cases where some printers have transferred and some haven't.

Where as I think you're just running server networking system. In this way if you would like to take print of a document you must share the printer with your PC then you would like to see that the administrator has not keep any restriction on printing, then you may take print.

Your problem is about printing through server network. You must share the printer with your system through server try to remember that the administrator must not put any restriction on printing. After that you may take print through your PC(personal computer). In this way you may achieve your purpose easily.......... The printer may share in My network place and the option is given on left hand side navigation bar.

there should be no problems if the administrator has given you the rights. make sure there is nothing wrong with admin side otherwise nothing should go wrong...!
