Please, I need advice on which Server to get for work
I just moved to Montana as an IT intern. We are running Windows 2000 Server on just a regular AMD PC. We just got a nice Pentium Xeon server donated with Windows 2000 Server on it. I am going to switch our harddrive with Windows 200 Server on it to the new server, temporarily.
I am looking into Windows Server 2003. We are running around 12 desktops, then a few laptops, maybe under 10. Anyways, I was wondering which would be the best Server for me. I was thinking Windows Small Business Server 2003 from newegg for about $419.
I've never installed a Server though. Do I buy the full version? Is there upgrades? Does it matter if the software is OEM?
I really need help. Thanks everyone.
