Thread: Usability Testing?

I own a marketing website and have been trying different ways to optimize for conversions. So far, I’ve just been using usertesting.com and I’ve gotten real helpful feedback which has increased sales by more than 50%.
What else can I do to increase the conversions for my website?

Get a usability review done - you can also do them yourself. You'll need a few volunteers.

Prepare a set of scripted actions you'd like them to do, then one by one ask them to go through the site and watch what they are doing, ask them to talk through what they are thinking and note it down. It can be really valuable to improve your overall site usability.
