Thread: How much will it cost me?

I have created a forum (General Discussion Forum) on my site smsbucket.com/forum

I am currently using phpbb forum script, but as you all know that people will join easily if I have vBulletin forum, right?

I was wondering how much will it cost me to convert my phpbb forum to vBulletin? I know vBulletin license is $180, what extra charges will be applied?

Also, is it possible that I use some other person's vBulletin license and in return I give him a permanent link on the footer of my forum?

As I know the transfer is free, you can do it yourself.

I would recommend buying vB, and also get the vBSEO to really get up there strong. I know from experience that vB SEO works superbly.

You may not use it. Thats against the license agreement. If VB find out both of you gonna get in trouble.

You can however buy it from them and transfer it to you if the license is at least 3 months old. Before you do that though get the license information from them and contact VB to make sure it is transferrable and is legal. You can save alot of money on an owned license this way. Some people just buy them and then decide that they do not want to use the license and sell them on sites like DP all the time.
