What is No-Follow?

nofollow is an HTML attribute value used to instruct some search engines that a hyperlink should not influence the target link's ranking in the search engine's index.

nofollow tags were introduced mainly to reduce link spams on blogs and other websites.

An example of nofollow link:
<a href="http://www.targetsite.com/" rel="nofollow">some keywords</a>
