Facebook is planning to unveil their new internet-based email service designed to compete directly against Google's Gmail.

People are already speculating the new Email Service as the Gmail killer.

The email service is to be a fully-developed webmail client that may be intertwined with its popular photos and events applications.

Facebook members would each get an email address that ends with facebook.com.

Time will tell how it goes, but we sure love to see healthy competition where consumers are always the winner.
