CNN in a news report busted Craigslist for its lame work on monitoring adult services ads.

People been able to post ads like "sex for sale", in other words prostitution, without much problem. Although CraigsList claimed they scan all the ads before they go live, wasnt really true.

CNN reporter Lyon secretly posted an ad posing as a prostitute on Craigslist, to see what happens. She got 15 phone calles in three hours.

They she got Craig Newmark, founder of Craigslist, on camera while he was out at a speech. When she asked why Craigslist isnt monitoring those ads while they are claiming they do, he just got silent without any answer.

In a latest development Craigslist have shut down the adult services section temporarily.

I've seen a lot of classified ads like craigslist offering "sex for sale", which is also very alarming.

i think they have made that change permanent now.
that's a huge blow to their earnings for sure.

haha. It took them a while, but finally closed huh? Nice. Craigslist is helping so many people, and at the same time, hurting a lot of people. Yes, there is positive and negatives to everything; however, Craigslist has the highest crime rate as an operating website to the public.
