Local mail server compared to windows live, google, etc...
I was wondering if there were any benefits to having your e-mail hosted through Windows Live, or GMail, or any other providers. I can't imagine it would give you any more stability aside from the fact you don't have to worry about your local mailserver going down. But if your server goes down the dns won't resolve so the e-mail won't work anyway. What are the benefits, pros and cons.
