Hello everyone,

I'm currently trying to edit a file via SSH on a Macbook using the vi command. The problem is that I can't figure out do the equivalent of "insert" on a PC. I have looked online and found some answers but none of which worked in Terminal.

I'm sure many of you use Terminal so any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
