Translate that into shared hosting, it means that you get roughly 450GB of Hard Drive space and 3200GB of bandwidth. How many companies have you seen offer more than this for less than 10 bucks a month? That is overselling, and it is dangerous practice. What happens if you use 1GB to much space? They will suspend your account and pending you find a new host, your customers will see "This account has been suspended" for a maximum of 72 hours. Its truly shocking how they are still in business. Speed, check.

2. A Maximum of 100 clients on a server at any point in time. We strongly believe that the performance you want out of your webhost is directly related to the amount of clients on each server. This means that if you take a look at the amount of websites hosted at the server IP address it will total 100 or less, guaranteed (Consider that the number also includes parked domains and add-on domains so it might be higher than 100, however the max amount of clients will remain below 100). 50 might seem like a lot, however compare this to the big names that offer "unlimited bandwidth and space" that host well over 500 per server. This also means that in the highly unlikely event that a server crashes permanently, we can easily switch all our clients to another server quickly, minimizing downtime. Reliability, check.

3. We compiled a short survey to ask customers what they truly wanted out of a webhost. The top answer we got was simplicity, they wanted to be able to just FTP the files over, change there nameservers/A records and see their website just work. With Phynom, its just that simple. 4. We will never have a load over 0.85 per core. What does server load mean? Server load is the amount of pressure, we will say, that the server takes. Servers of today can handle 1-2 points per core core and still be speedy, however performance will be affected (whether it is 10% or 75%). Here at Phynom, we work to ensure that our server load is never over 0.85 per core. Log into your current host, pending you have one, and check the server load and see what the average load per core is (take the number and divide by the number of cores). If it is under 0.85 then you will have speedy service! If it is over by a little bit then you will still have fast service, but it can be faster, and if it is a lot over then its just a recipe for disaster. Consistency, check.
