Default Difference between Client side-scripting and Server side-scripting

Here I want to share some fundamental difference between client-side scripting and server-side scripts. Server-side code executes on the server and client side code runs on the client browser. Server side validation can be done on server side using server controls, but the client-side validation can be done through the browser. Client-side validation can be done with JavaScript or VB Script.

Client-side scripts are interpreted by the browser. Client-side scripting generally refers to the class of computer programs on the web that are executed client-side. Client side scripts are executed and changed by the user on his side.
server-side handles logging in, personal information and preferences and provides the specific data which the user wants. Server side scripting is when the users browser makes a request back to the server and the script creates the dynamic page based a number of conditions.

Server-side scripting is about "programming" the behavior of the server.

Yes, server side is taken on the server and client dide is done on the PC of the user who browsing site. Some time its better (when possible) to use client scripting, because server does less job, and do not overload so easy.

The main difference between client and server-side scripting lies in the place and way it isexecuted. Client side scripts are downloaded by the browser, interpreted by the browser, andexecuted by the browser, depending on the memory, CPU speed and in when dealing withanimation, even the video card in use on your visitors' computer. Server-side scripts run onthe server and depend on the memory and CPU speed of the server. This difference is of vitalimportance when making a choice between client and server-side scripting solutions for yourproject

Server side scripting is when the users browser creates a back request to the server and the script makes the dynamic page based a figure of situations. Languages frequently used are PHP or ASP.

Here I put Example of it. On a website and the user clicks on the illustrate the link of products. The server then runs the PHP/ASP code to generate a page by locating each and every product in the data base. The page is make and sent back to the users browser for presenting.

Client side scripting is when all the code is previously on the users browser & the page alters stand on the users input. Language is typically JavaScript.

Here I put Example of it. The drop down menu of JavaScript. The JavasScript alters how the menu is displayed but every code is run locally while it is doing that.

Scripts executed only by the browser without contacting the server is called client-side script. It is browser dependent. The scripting code is visible to the user and hence not secure. Scripts executed by the web server and processed by the server is called server-side script.

We would define a script as a set of instructions. For Web pages they are instructions either to the Web server(server-side scripting) or to the Web Browser (client-side scripting). Letís have a look how they differ from each other :
    >> Server side scripting is used to create dynamic pages based a number of conditions when the users browser makes a request to the server.
Client side scripting is used when the users browser already has all the code and the page is altered on the basis of the users input.
    >> The Web Server executes the server side scripting that produces the page to be sent to the browser.

Server side scripting can access the file system residing at the web server.Client side scripting can’t access the file system that resides at the web server.
