Thread: Records count

Hi, I have a database where people enter their moths species records. I can easily count the total records, but what I would like to do is count the individual species. For instance out of 200 records that may only consist of 20 different species. Is there a way that I can display the total species.

What is this about I really do not understand.

you have to write the code. the algorithm would usually go with retrieving all the files the incrementing a count variable. there are also programming language that already have a statement for this.

there are some query for counting row in structure query language.

there is some important structure query language for reterif to total no of records in column.
