Link wheel strategy useful or useless ?
What's the procedure of Link Wheel SEO?

I think that link wheel is banned by google.the procedure is to build links for your website using web 2.0 sites(blogger,wordpress etc),maybe interlinking it-website 2 contain a link to your website and a link to first website,3 has a link to your website and a link to 2 website and so on-and after that index these.But I think that google found it unless for visitors,so banned the websites which use this kind of link building strategy.(a website has disappear from page 1 in google.com for "funny quotes" keywords-allgreatquotes and was there for long term.the owner use this strategy and in 2 month his website was on the nowhere in google)

A link wheel is only considered black hat when you use duplicate content all over the internet and Web 2.0 properties. If you have unique content you will not be penalized by Google and since it is unique Google will like it. Plus, you cannot do a link wheel and leave an obvious pattern.

If done properly they can be effective with pages without PR, but obviously pages with PR are helpful.

You need to have fresh and current content these days. I suppose you can get some results with link wheel. But, as to effective, I don't think it will be as effective as it used to be. In July Google made a big update on the way it ranks pages and if you are duplicating content and links your ranking will fall. But, opinions continue to differ on this thread.

Link Wheel building is a process of building a multitude of links and to direct them to our website. With the help of different web 2.0 characteristics or other sources, the do-follow links are generated and then these links are pointed back to our websitebut I have doubt is there dis advantages in Link Wheel Procedure.Please explain with diagram.
