What I meant was that if you submit seo articles on a music social bookmarking site, then you won't get relevant traffic but if you submit it to, lets say, Sphinn then most of the traffic that you will receive will be relevant.

I might have used the term conversion inappropriately above.

Good point...All the traffic in world would be meaning less or do no good if your visitors don't buy anything. Credibility of the site and delivering what the site/you promise is a are the things some things to be keep in mind.

Yes! credibility means a lot to anybody / site. If you are on upto your promises and words, you will be a successful person / site then.

Promoting products doesnt mean you have submit links anonymously. It mean keeping all the rules on highest priority and promoting them in a smart way......

I think if we directly promote anywhere... we'll definitely get spammed the second day but as long as me contribute quality and follow their rules.... no one actually bans you.
