It improvise the traffic which leads to generate business for the website.

Social media greatly influences SEO in terms of backlinks and search rankings. Social media and SEO are complimentary to each other.
Building a good social media reputation not only helps in building quality backlinks but also improves SERPs.

- Exposes your content across a wide audience
- Helps you with quick indexing
- Helps in building relations with webmasters
- Brings you more traffic
- Gets you the benefit of backlinks (if do-follow)

I couldn't imagine today the promotion of a website, without SEO or SMM. These are two different things that go hand in hand, and by creating a perfect balance through a good combination, your campaign will probably take you to great success.
