Thread: Facebook is not a social network !!

yesterday i found on my facebook that they are showing column ads in my news feed. it was annoying to see ads after finishing your friend's comments or status.even when i try to see pictures there were a lot of ads in column on both sides of my newsfeed.

i think facebook is now a ads showing media, not a social networking media.

hmm ? really ? i never see that , for i have some my friends status !

but i am seeing ads are playing in my newsfeed.

Looking i agree on your statement that FB is not a social network site but it is necessary to operate for Fb so that the staff and other expenses could be manageable that is why you see the ads w3hich is the earning source for them.

i just wanna to remove those annoying ads. they are maximum flash ads.

your point is valid but facebook is considered as social network.

Facebook is the great social network,very useful for both personal and professional life.

I quite agree with you. Before Facebook was all about social networking, now most of what I see on my wall are products sold plus the ads on the side. These don't bother me at all. I love having to connect to my friends and do online shopping at the same time.
