Hello Guys,
Here are some point you can check you are a social media addict or not please read all point carefully and you konw it your addict or not..

1. You have more friends in social network such as Facebook, MySpace and Orkut than in real life.
2. Even if you try you can never ignore the message ping on your system.
3. You get a panic attack when you see your favorite networking site. Its the moment when you don’t know what you are gonna do next.
4. You rely on Twitter,Facebook and other bookmarking sites for morning news than the traditional news sites.
5. You’d rather give your social network link to your friend than your number.
6. The first time you meet someone in real life, you ask them if they have an account in any of the social networking sites.
7. You check your network first thing in the morning and last thing before going to bed.
8. You can never postpone replying to a status message directed at you.
9. You are active on more than one social network and have the same set of people connected with you in different sites.
10. You desperately pray for your number of friends to go up and never decline a friend request from anyone.

Based on your post, I can say that I'm a social media addict lol. But at least I got real friends with me.

many of my sisters, brothers, relatives are part of social sites. to be honest we stay in touch via social sites

i use that sometimes, cant claim as an addict. i know some people who stick around social sites almost as much time as they can

I am a social addict but only social sites that I can have promote my personal businesses.. LOL

I admit that i spend more time on facebook unlike any other social media sites. Comparing all those social networks running over the net, facebook comes with total packaged that's why its pretty obvious seeing many people starting to be addicted to it.

I am addicted to social networking resources and I do login and check the account first thing after starting the system.

I've blocked facebook to 15 minutes a day with Leechblock. I'm so much more productive now.

It was years ago and my children would spend hours either on MySpace or instant messaging and I wondered why they would want to spend so much time on the computer communicating on social media channels. Five years ago the term ‘Social Media Marketing” hadn’t even been invented yet but now our obsession with social media has moved on to include business social media activites as well as personal use. So now we can justify the time spent on social media as a business activity just to salve our conscience.

To put a few activities into perspective let’s check in on our social media and digital activities for signs of addiction and obsession by asking some pertinent questions.

Do you have following symptoms?

When you leave your iPhone behind at home do you feel a sense of loss and isolation becasue you can’t check your Facebook or Twitter updates while out and about
You check your Facebook account 20 times a day
If you don’t receive a comment on your latest blog post within 12 hours you have suicidal thoughts
You go away for a weekend without your laptop and your suffer severe heart palpitations?
You have more social media icons on you iPhone than productivity apps?
You stood in line for an Apple iPad for 24 hours just so you could update your Facebook on a bigger screen while on the move
You have more online friends than you have in real life
You Tweet on your mobile while walking
You log on to Facebook before you have brushed your teeth in the morning
You check your Facebook or Twitter updates ‘after’ going to bed
