Hi Guys,

I was just wondering what is a good overall CTR rate for a website under the 'search queries' section of google webmaster tools?

I assume impression means how many times a website actually appeared in the search results?

I read somewhere that if a website appears on page 1, the average CTR can be 10 - 30%, so assuming there were 100 searches under which the website appeared on the search results, the website can expect 10 - 30 click throughs... so my question is this: what would be a good overall CTR rate?

It would be great to know what kind of average CTR others get

I only have adsense. From that, your CTR should be pretty low (even on google) unless if you have amazing content.

Basically yes. That means in what position your site is shown when the user searches certain keywords.

Page CTR should be low or high ?

It will be better if you get maximum CTR for your website. If every visitors clicked on your site by searching on any specific keyword then your CTR will be 100%

Yes, CTR can give an overview how effective your website is in terms of earning from Adsense.
