Try to get quality backlinks from high pr sites....

Please put your best efforts on on-page optimization and doing all off-page technique and getting quality do-follow back link then you will improve page rank.

I mostly prefer to use forum posting, blog comment, social bookmarking and directory submission to increase the page rank of the website. It also helpful in getting a good quality of backlink. I also build edu links to increase the page rank of the website.

you can gain pr from high pr backlinks,
i acquire pr from zero to 4 in just 3 months,,,
but its 2 years old project,
never happen like that again
