I been trying to rank this forum for the keyword Webmaster Forum. Last few weeks its been acting like a bouncing ball changing positions from 9-12.

I know backlinks are something to work on to stabilize it. Other then that anybody can think of a solution?

Yaa Manik i think Webcosmoforums need some on page seo i check it already not see proper meta in index page title is also short....i think if you change something i hope we get soon in top5 position...also add some quality back links...

I think on-page is not bad. Backlinks are something we have to work on I guess. After all we are a new forum, I guess that makes a difference compared to the ones on the first page.

I think you get the More and More back links. you get the Back link more then the V7n.com/forums, forums.digitalpoint.com and webmaster-talk.com.

Yes Manik, Me too had the same thing, when I add new links, google SERP starts to dance here and there. Once about 80% of my new links are cached, SERP used to be in stable position. It is better to add backlinks more and more till you get stabled.... Rahter than diggs, I am sure you can get more traffic from delicious as well as if you can have more faves, stumbleupon, twitter, mixx and diggo --- These will bring more direct traffic as well as traffic via search engines too

Try to work on your On-Page!.. Here are some factors that affect On-Page Optimization:

1. title tags
2. alt-tags (when describing images)
3. meta tags
4. h1/h2 tags
5. description
6. keywords

Webmaster Forum is a very competitive keyword.. You have to build more link and get tons of quality of back links to get to your desired rankings on SERP..
