PR Vs SERP

How PR helps in SERP?
I have noticed that the sites with good PR are back in google but the sites with PR0 are on TOP on google. What is the reason for this? What is the relation between PR and SERP?

Lot of people say PR got nothing to do with SERPs. I think its lot of factors like content, backlink etc.

SERP is more important then PR in my opinion. And SERP does not depend on the PR at all you said.

yaa SERP not depend on PR but PR play important roll for getting good SERP...

To have good results in SERP, you should quality link building techniques.. With good result in SERP, your PR may increase..

PR has nothing to do with the rank of a website in Google. The more back links you have, the higher the PR would be. Whereas the ranking of a website depends on a number of issues.

I think PR is important for getting SERP, coz of if your site have good PR then you can exchange some good PR back links for your website!!! another way PR give by Google i think every one know If your site have good PR that means Google give importance of your web page, so try to collect quality high PR back link then increases your SERP as well PR!!!

i think in building your links, like in forum signatures... we use our keywords as our anchor text...

Yeah good search engine position can bring in higher PR because your site will be more visible and if its have good content it may attract natural linking.

I think PR and SERP, both are important but don't give so much attention to pr. Try to get good ranking and then you will get good pr...

You can gain a so-called Page Rank based on your keyword target. Meaning, there is a relation between the two. If you target a page with a specific keyword, you then give a link juice on each of your sites page. And you can actually gain high PR if you do have many quality backlinks.

i always care about traffic and my serp ranking, because pr is just important when you have to sell your links or have to exchange links , otherwise pr is worthless

PR and your SERP isn't directly related at all. PR is only part of the ranking algorithm but of coures, if you have good link building technique your could also get good PR and SERP
