Thread: PR update going on right now?

I recently checked my pr on different data centers and got some different results.
Is the PR update going on right now?
Anyone else see a change in their PRs?

Yeah I guess you are right. One of my sites seem to have No PR info available on the toolbar; that generally happens when PR changes.

I can't see any changes on my site. But my backlinks got an update last week. So I guess there's something going on.

I got three PR checkers (1 from searchstatus, 1 from seobook, and another 1 from google toolbar) but it seemed like each of it don't agree from one another. Weird.. But I think PR update is done quarterly..

That means Google is upadting your PR. Based on what datacenter they use, you may get different results until Google sets for one final one. Good luck man

yaa it's going on but not major i seen not major changes in my sites!!!

There are up going changes...my blog that has a pr 1 just turned to unranked.

I don't see any changes yet

yup i not seen any update in my site...

No update for me yet but I see big changes in backlinks using the link: command as well as different DCs giving different PR values.

i thought wise people said PR does not matter, all that matters is SERP

I agree, PR is still very important. At the least it works as a superb Google marketing tool to keep webmasters interested in performing well with respect to Google.

absolutely, higher PR always have had a great marketing value.

Sure it does. Many of the sites now are getting linkbacks from sites with higher PR and they even tend to buy link from this sites. If you're site do have high PR this can be your edge against your competitors.
