    GEO target is the local ranking in the search engine you can get local ranking based your country and specified area this is the GEO targeting.

    Geo targeting means delivering the information to the client based on the Geographical location>basically the location here is local(from where the client/user is accessing the internet facilities.

    According to me, Geo-targeting is a technique. To deliver information to the client in geographical area as well as specific area is Geo-targeting.

    GEO targeting is one of the basic process in keyword research.Like a webmaster select keywords targeting a particular Geographical location.GEO targeting is done in relation to the website and where it is more functional.Like a Indian website having major portion of it's market in India must have to be targeted in India.
