Don’t mess up your site with heavy images that makes your site heavy and slow, try to optimize images that reduces weight and helps to load fast. Still now, people forgot to do optimizing the images.

Image optimization is also very beneficial for getting traffic for the website and one should take care of using images in a proper and easy uploading format.

Thanks for your your valuable suggestion, if anybody have sites with more images it will take more time to load and the user doesn't have that much time to wait so it simply tells us to optimize the images

yes, image optimization is also very important in optimization. you can placed your targeted keyword in alt tag of images....

Agree with you mit, if you want to put up a large images as your banner or background slice it up to smaller sizes so it doesn't load as one big image.

Most of the it irritate the visitor when page is not upload in few seconds. So images should be optimize properly.

I agree with mit, image optimization also important in seo optimization.

my site has a lot of images and I don't really optimize them at all..lol.. well, only the images that are fixed in my sites, when people submit pictures of cars they want to be sold in my site, should I still optimize them?

Yes, images should also be optimized if your site is full of images / much related with. You will get more traffic from image result too.

very good advice...one of my blogs has lots of images but it loads pretty fast...a little slow but not too slow.

Yes you can optimize them because those images are placed on your website, you make them easy to load.
