many SEO expert now claim that working on web directory submission if 90% useless after google new penguin update
what do you think about it?

As per my opinion for web directory submission it’s still good after Google updating, but consider some points like, Use different IP directories, Must be relevant theme only, Use Keywords combination for submission.

Google panda is not a latest update but that time also i didn't notice such information about directory submissions.

You can use the directory submission after Google panda and penguin update but you should use different c class ip web directories if you really want to top results. also most important use comprehensive description and never repeat the title again and again. If you will follow these steps you will see the results from directory submission.

I think it's true. Google is leaning on quality content more than ever, and one of the points for being high-quality is to be unique. However, directory submitting remains its influence as well, still got the 10% left, right? LOL

Directory submission is still useful but you have to submit on some valuable directories . Many of free directories available on web are junk that specialize in a bulk method of
adding dozens of links every day. Avoid these spam FFA directories not to get penalized.

I already stop submitting in directories specially free directories, I've heard that google deindex them.

I'm confident direcotry submitting still works. But you have to choice only TOP and good sites. No more farm links like some of directories.

Only quality directories submissions are worthy after Google panda update.Directories are of good pr and relevant theme.

have to submit in good web directory like page rank, and fast approval, that can make back links to website
