Why 301 redirect is the best for seo purpose but not 302? Please share your views on it.

301 is SEO friendly because it is a permanent redirect and search will pass all juice of old page to new one. While 302 is temporary redirect and it is not seo friendly redirect.

As 301 is a permanent redirect it passes all juice of the older pages to the newer ones,on the other hand 302 is temporary redirect which is not beneficial.

301 is permanent redirect while 302 is temporary redirect. When a page is completely moved to a new URL using 301 will be the best choice. If you have to place a do follow link for other domain on your site, you can use 302 redirect to avoid passing link juice from your page to that specific page.

302 is temporary domain don't pass page rank and its not good for SEO. When a URL returns a 302 redirect, it means that the owner of this link asks users to continue to use this address as the redirect could be modified at some later time. The owner of the page pointed to by the redirect is not necessarily the same person and might not wish that its contents is presented as belonging to another web site.
