what is the Important of PR for any sites . Is it effective for seo purpose .

PR is important factor in search engine for any website. its tell the how much search engine give your website importance.

Not that big a factor for me!
I’ve always seen it as one of the 200+ factors that collectively determine a site’s ranking. And unless you are planning to sell backlinks or your domain, you shouldn’t be losing sleep over it...

It is a big factor for any site if you get more PR then your reputation will increase and you will get a nice position in the eyes of search engine.

Page Rank specifies the quality and quantity of backlinks. And so it is important.

Page rank shows the importance and your site value in the search engine.

I don't think PR plays any role in SERP.But it shows your website vale in Google and also can be helpful in business reputation.

Page rank is only the metric given by Google, now a days no use because this PR will not give you SERP ranking nor traffic.
