Thread: Which is required quality or quantity of backlinks according to 2012?

I have started building links using off page techniques, here would like to know which is required whether quality or quantity of backlinks or both?

It is not required, but quality backlinks have more value rather than quantity backlinks..

Links are always good for website, But when it comes to ranking Google surely gives more privilege to Dofollow links.While it doesn't matters so much to yahoo and other search engines.So If your targeted market is Google, then surely have dofollow.

Quality is best.

I'd look at things this way, sureshseo. If I'm going to hire people to write me some stories, I'd pick the one with the well-written plot over the one with more pages, but with a very messy plot.

I prefer quality links but quantity is must. you can't wait for quality links.

We should always focus to create quality links because quality backs helps in keywords ranking and will generate the genuine traffic for the website.

First comes quality, then comes relevancy and then comes quantity. \

In my opinion quality backlinks are more important then quantity. Because quality backlinks are increase page rank of your website while there no need of quantity backlinks. As I know whenever search engine going to update PR at that time they keep in mind only quality of backlinks not quantity.

I think both are important but 1st is quality 2ndly quantity,both are important if you want to get rank in search engine........
