What is the difference between blog commenting and forum commenting?

As of now I am doing forum commenting and postings , need to start blog commenting, would like to know is it comfortable doing like forum commenting and what is the difference?

Forum posting is a best way to get good back links and traffic better than blog commenting. Blog commenting gives us traffic. But forum posting gives us fast approval.

Well its good for the website to use multiple methods for link building rather than sticking to a particular one. Google gives more privilege to the websites which have more quality links.SO I would suggest you to perform link building from both the method.

There is no so much difference between blog commenting and forum commenting? these both are the same with each other ! There is a only a different between them & Forum posting gives the the back link & high quality back links & blog commenting the traffic but not good quality !
