Default Link Building Strategies for Ecommerce Websites

Find opportunities to get listed or quoted where appropriate. Here are few technique for the collection of reputation for your brand and also build links:

    1. Write Guest Articles
Many sites, online publications and blogs invite guest writers. Search for some relevant e-commerce, or your specific product category. Make sure that these sites are not purely sponges for free content, and write high quality content for them. In my experience, after you write a few dozen guest articles, some of them will prove to be gateways for highly qualified and relevant traffic, not to mention the great links that affect search engine rankings.

    2. Get interviewed
Are you an eloquent face of your website, there will be several people who would like to interview you. In addition to building your brand, will such interviews a link to your e-commerce Web site typically include also.

    3. Writing White Papers
If you have something to say that is of most importance for e-commerce in common, or a niche-topic within e-commerce, write a official white paper. Then create it available for free distribution on your sites. In addition, both (online and offline) media outlet awareness of this white paper. If the interests of several people, they can download, and place a link to your web site.

    4. Distributing press releases
There is a development in your e-commerce company that would be of general interest for professionals in the e-commerce industry, are you a good candidate for creating and distributing press releases. Having regard to the fact that distributes press releases online has become so easy, many media began emailed press releases ignore. But there are some that still gives them a cursory look, and if they are valuable, they publish them.

    Capture attention

In a sense, all the linkbuilding strategies in the first part of this article shall attract attention strategies. But they are subtle. You might consider blatantly shouting from the rooftops. For example, you could come up with promotions or offers that will get written about. Here are some brainstormed ideas:

-If your pet dog named Aristotle, than how about selling dog care kits, usually sold at $ 99, for a mere $ 1 to pet dog owners whose dog Aristotle hot! Of course you could limit this to the first 10 people who order, or to those who on the anniversary of ordering your dog. Although the cost of this promotion would not be too high, Word spread like wildfire as it captures the imagination of even a few well-networked dog owners.

-You could a contest where customers click photos of themselves the goods they ordered receive from your e-commerce website. And every month, could the customer that the happiest looks in the picture whom she refunded their money, have.

-These are just two of the ideas I brainstormed the cuff. You know your customers, and you know what your brand stands for. Keeping that in mind, come up with promotions that will grab attention. In addition to kilometers in the form of branding and increased sales, you will quite likely end to develop some valuable links.

    Leverage Social Media
Your e-commerce company can not with the increased dissemination of Facebook, Twitter and other social destinations stay away from social media. Individually I will talk about social media marketing for e-commerce. For now, let me focus on the link building aspect of social media.

To begin with, you can set mark’s on the most popular social sites. That you own a few links. You can then try and involve your audience your social effort. An example of public involvement could be that they search for the happiest person in the aforementioned contest could vote.

I am going to assume you already decided on what to sell. From there, I am going to assume you don't have a website yet. Here are the important things, IMO, to rank a website:

    1. Keyword in URL
    2. Keyword in Title of site and description of site.
    3. Keyword in page title, in the beginning of the first paragraph, sprinkled throughout the page at around a 3% keyword density, in a 800-1300 word article.
    4. Bold, italicize, and underline keyword about 1 time, maybe more, but don't over do it.
    5. Find related keywords (aka Latent Semantic Index, or LSI) by Googling your keyword and looking at the bottom on the SERPs. There's usually "related searches" Or, you can use Google's Keyword tool and they have related keywords as well.

This is ON-page SEO and only weighs in ranking about 20%?? Opinions differ.

MORE importantly is OFF-page SEO, aka back linking.

    6. Start slow in getting back links (in other words, do not build 1000 links on the first day to a new site) You want to make the back links grow at a "natural" pace.
    7. Keeping with "natural," get back links from DIVERSE sources. This is known as a "Diverse Back Link Profile." Get them from Article submissions, web 2.0 sites, social book marking sites, blog commenting, and best of all, contextual back links from "trusted"/ "authority" sites. This is easier said than done. Striking up relationships with high PR "authority" sites is the way to earn the privilege to post an article on their site (with your links inside, of course)

Just keep building back links and adding fresh content to your site and Google will notice you.

It takes time to SEO a site unless competition is low and/or you have powerful back linking partners.

This is why people just pay people to SEO a site.

Hope you got something from this
