Thread: How can I get maximum benefit from directory submission?

Hi,

I submitted my site to around 1000 web directories but I'm not seeing any improvement in ranking, is it not worthy to submit to directories?

If you really want to get maximum benifit of directory submission, you have to work hard, you have to make diffrent descrption and keyword for each submission. this would prevent spaming and give the maximum benifit.

You said that you submitted 1000 directories.
Allow directories are taking time to approve your listing. It will take 2 to 3 Weeks timing. Then Google will take a cache of those directories that you linking in it. So it almost takes 1 month timing to get result. If you want to get good result means you have to use unique content while submitting it.

The editor of the directory should approve your link. You will get backlink only after the editor approves your link on the directory. Your position in SERP may increase after the editor approves the links. Submit your sites to niche directory to get a better ranking.
