If that is high value directly then surely will effect your website ranking, Its not major issues that paid or free. If you post your website in Yahoo Directory then surely increase in ranking but that is Paid Directory

When u used high valu directory it is benficial fto you becasue high value directory give you good backlinks.

If that is great value immediately then absolutely will impact your web page position, Its not major concerns that compensated or free. If you publish your web page in Google Index then absolutely increase in position but that is Paid Index. High PR internet directories are more valuable than low PR. It gives good inbound backlinks.
