Hello Friends,
One of the most popular methods of online advertising, especially for small businesses, is CPC, or cost-per-click, advertising. If you have been researching online advertising, you are probably already familiar with this term.
CPC-based advertising allows businesses to pay only for the targeted leads they receive. In the competitive online marketplace, this can spell success much more quickly than other advertising methods.
Thanks

Pay per click (PPC) (also called Cost per click) is an Internet advertising model used to direct traffic to websites, where advertisers pay the publisher (typically a website owner) when the ad is clicked. With search engines, advertisers typically bid on keyword phrases relevant to their target market.

The terms pay-per-click (PPC) and cost-per-click (CPC) are sometimes used interchangeably, sometimes as distinct terms. When used as distinct terms, PPC indicates payment based on click-throughs, while CPC indicates measurement of cost on a per-click basis for contracts not based on click-throughs.
For example, consider a campaign where payment is based on impressions, not clicks. Impressions are sold for $10 CPM with a click-through rate (CTR) of 2%.
1000 impressions x 2% CTR = 20 click-throughs
$10 CPM / 20 click-throughs = $.50 per click

It measures how much each click costs you. If you had a CPC of 5 cents, then you know that each click cost you 5 cents, and that 10 clicks would cost you 50 cents.

Yes, CPC is Cost per click. It has two different meanings one is the term cost per click means how much the search engine charges advertisers each time a visitor clicks on a sponsored link. Cost per click can also mean the total cost accrued by the advertiser when the ad is clicked on, from just listing the ad to the additional cost of the click-through on the part of the visitor.
