Well it depends upon how much you keep the keyword density. Normally keyword density should not exceed the limit of 2-3%. So if your page have an article of 1000 words then 2% of total keywords would be 20 and if you keep the density in 3% then the total keywords would be 30. But try to keep the range within 2-3%.

The true definition of keyword density is the ratio of the word that is being searched for, ie the keyword, against the total number of words appearing on a given web page. If your keyword occurs only once or twice in a page of 500 or more words, obviously it has a lower keyword density than a keyword that would occur six or seven times in a page of similar length.

As far as search engines are concerned, if a particular keyword has a higher density on that particular web page, then the chances of that page obtaining a much better search engine ranking increases almost exponentially. Not all search engines compute or evaluate keyword density in the same way and most have their own proprietary algorithm for calculating the average density of a keyword.

Nevertheless, the basic principles described in this article are general enough to help any website greatly increase its rankings in the major search engines. Note that today, they all take keyword density into account.

    Hello Friends,

The keywords you choose for your business website are crucial to the site’s success, as these play such an important part in optimising your website, allowing the search engines to find and index it. In previous posts, we have discussed researching these keywords to make sure they are relevant to your audience and that they are searched for by many people, without being too competitive and hard to rank with.

    Thanks

IF you want to make your website searchable on some respective keywords then it depends on keyword density , proximity and prominence of keyword. You should not exceed the keyword density limit, generally 2-3% keyword density if good but try to use of keyword in content in a meaningful and natural way not in a stuffing way. And the right placement of keyword is also a factor to make website searchable.
