You can use 3 to 5 keywords and keyword density should be 3 to 5%.

Don overfocuse on keywords! use diferent descriptions, synonims. Write stuff that is readable. i see lots of site positioning well with hardly any keywords in their text. Use Meta Title, page URL and get lots of links!

Use 4 to 5 Key phrase in a single page is fine because we easily use them in Meta tags, and meta tags play vary effective role for SERP. 4 to 5 Keyphrase we easily handle the key phrase density in the page content with good quality.

Keyword density is the percentage of times a keyword or phrase appears on a web page compared to the total number of words on the page, lots of SEO experts think the best possible keyword density have to be 1 to 3 percent. Using a keyword more than that could be considered search spam.
