Friends, what is micro blogging??? How it differs from other blogging/techniques
i am expecting the details regarding micro blogging. If any of you know about this technique, kindly share with us.

Micro blogging is different from a normal blog. It allows you to share small amount of content. It allows only 140 characters per post. Some microblogging sites are Twitter, Posterous, FriendFeed, Tumblr and Dailybooth.

Microposts can be made public on a Web site and/or distributed to a private group of subscribers. Subscribers can read microblog posts online or request that updates be delivered in real time to their desktop as an instant message or sent to a mobile device as an SMS text message.

Microblogging is a very social method of communication that appeals to our inherently inquisitive human nature. We’re social beings who like to know what other people a doing, reading, writing, watching, listening to etc.! It’s open, informal and spontaneous, all of which encourages interaction.

Micro blogging is nothing other than posting small update or messages/posts.
