now a days in offpage seo there is lots of talk of Blogs , Articles , forums count as best source for link building..so i want to know about press release..Is press release still beneficial for link building

Yes Press release is really a good method of link building.

Press release submission is passe... I don’t do it. And automated submission is a big no-no in itself!
Why don’t you lean towards other effective SEO techniques like blogging, guest posting, social networking etc

yes press release is great and fast way to build the back link and fast indexing for the site.

I used press release in the past to rank our website in google local. Now I am not focusing on press release because all the free press releases has no option to insert dofollow links.
