Default Can Backlinks Hurt Your Site?

Hey, I saw a great deal on 1000 backlinks for $10 and I was about to purchase the service. But I am was unsure about the way the company generates these backlinks.

Should I purchase it or not?

If Google realises you are buying backlinks then, at best, it will simply ignore those backlinks, at worse, your website ranking will be penalised. IMO, don't waste your money.

This is simply wrong. If it was correct, all I would need to do to hurt my competitor's websites would be to create backlinks to them from spamming or adult sites.

You will get much more impact from a handfull of hi quality backlinks than a thousand crappy ones. And if you do se your rankings drop its most likely just the dance and your site will return.

Most of the time backlinks will not hurt your site. Unless they are from a so-called 'bad neighborhood'. So avoid links from junk sites.

    This is simply not true.

Google realises that, in some circumstances, you have no control over who links to your website and from where. In these cases, backlinks from a so-called junk website will not hurt you, Google will simply ignore them.

However, if you link out to a junk website or websites, especially in quantity, then that may well harm your website in Google's view of things.

Google will not consider as a back links if that links is of less quality and from link farms, always build quality and high PR back links which will help to increase your keyword ranking...
