Thread: My sites traffic is going down

Hi

i am facing a big trouble can any body help me, my websites traffic is deadly going down can any body suggest me. up to last month my website traffic is very gud but from this months onwards its going down can any body tell me wat are the things i need to care, i did the all submission work, and the website contains gud contents also, pls help me

There could be a thousand and one reasons.

If you have Google Analytic & Webmaster access then you can track those keywords, which are responsible to drop traffic. First identified the main reason then you can make suitable action to improve website traffic.

If you website traffic is going down due to keywords ranking then you should promote those keywords to get good position at search engines. If Ranking is not effected but search engine traffic is going down then you should check website webmaster account and check how much percent searches were go down in previous days. This kind of traffic up & down goes in particular sessions and this is called seasonal keywords and website.

The main thing that help in getting traffic consists of two parts:
Firstly getting the Good Ranking
Secondly after getting ranks make the site attractive so that user stay there and also provide unique articles as uses love new and fresh content.

Well, first there isn't any way to guarantee a ranking at the top. Its part of the game!
Major cause of traffic going down is duplicate content. Even if you have good content, check it for duplicacy using “copyscape” or update it from the perspective of users and not search engines.
-Use your Google Analytics account to pin point the pages and keywords for which traffic has dropped...
-Keyword stuffing
-Review your robots.txt file
-Make sure that the URLs haven't been blocked with meta tags
-Check for crawl errors.
-Consider creating and submitting a Sitemap
-Canonical issues (use proper redirects)
-Check whether your site is indexed or not (use site:domain.com) or use Fetch as Googlebot tool
