nofollow is a value that can be assigned to the rel attribute of an HTML a element to instruct some search engines that a hyperlink should not influence the link target's ranking in the search engine's index. It is intended to reduce the effectiveness of certain types of search engine spam, thereby improving the quality of search engine results and preventing spamdexing from occurring.

The nofollow value was originally suggested to stop comment spam in blogs. Believing that comment spam affected the entire blogging community, in early 2005 Google’s Matt Cutts and Blogger’s Jason Shellen proposed the value to address the problem.[

The no follow means the search engine are not given much weight to that link.

No follow backlinks are not crawled by Google. these are only a good source of generating traffic.

A nofollow link is a link that is included on a webpage using standard html markup but includes an attribute to prevent passing link juice or reputation to the destination page.

Nofollow links are low priority and are not authority links. The links you get from commenting on blogs are nofollow. You can get traffic from those links but they do not affect your search engine rankings.

Google is reported to follow a link from my site, I logged into Google Webmaster account, I saw a link to follow. So, the link to see what kind of, but on your site or page, if you pass the value of PR to ask, everybody knows that the other G's. However, several submissions do follow as well as mix and to focus your link building it is recommended that you think. As other webmasters Also, the campaign is one search engine to one side so you do not want to be treated as one, so naturally both do follow and follow written on both sides of the link will appear.

You need a mix of nofollow and follow backlinks to create a natural backlink path.
