google adwords is not the only free tool around and is imo insufficient for deep keyword research as it vast inaccuracies have been reported and proven over the years. so just as you dont trust/read one news source, neither should you trust one keyword tool - even if it is by Google. afterall google is not a saint - they make money off of adwords, as the name suggests the tool is for adwords (primarily, and then for seo) so its understandable why it inflates keyword numbers. when worshiping google, keep in mind that it's a profit seeking corporation, not a charitable open source team making the word better with search

Google Analytic is my favorite tool because its work as a tracker of all things.
