Same here, for a long time now, I haven't submitted any of the article, but I always recommend it. It always help getting lots of traffic if your article is useful to the targeted market / People.

I had submitted my articles in Ezine and later on i found people have just copy and pasted the same content of my article on their blogs. However i got so many back links through it.
So you can submit your same articles in many directories, it won't harm you...

So you are getting nice backlinks with only just through that article submission in Ezine. That's really helpful and effective source of getting good exposure for the website.
