If you have big communities on these top sites then you vcan get huge traffic...

I agree that you can get a huge traffic from social networks but the conversion rate will be too low. Better aspire for organic traffic and that will mean more money to you

Yes good list but I'm not familiar to #5 and #10. But others sites are really great social sites I must say.

Flickr and bigadda - narrow focused . you can use it only for certain business
hi5 - waste of time in my opinion
my space - good if your target audience is from USa
orkut - google + is actually the one that rival in Facebook
